My experience at my job shadow was amazing. I got to see workers that work for Twitter at their best. I got a tour of the building, which is amazing because they have a roof top view and a game room section. The work experience at Twitter is very laid back. They could work where ever they want in the building like at a desk, sofa, rooftop, game room, or even a sound proof booth (that gets really hot).

I met a bunch of workers that are very friendly. I got to know their background and found out many workers leave their home town to come to Chicago and work at Twitter downtown. The guy I was job shadowing, David, came from Virginia and his friend Jen came from California, a place I always wanted to go. I also got to go to meetings with people in different states over video chat and they weren’t just regulat meetings. It was funny and interesting, and the vibe was just amazing.

Overall, I loved my experience. I would without a doubt want to go to Twitter to job shadow my mentor again. I’m also now practicing on being more creative because I need creativity to work at Twitter. It seemed like the most laid back/coolest job I have ever seen.
